Spott™ wins Media of the Year at the Merit Awards

01/2018 | Spott™ has been named ‘Media of the Year‘ at the annual Merit Awards. For 15 years, Media Marketing recognizes the most deserving creator, campaign, media, advertiser and agency of the past year. By doing this, the Merit Awards want to reward men and women in the world of marketing and communication.

This year, the jury consisted of the editors of Media Marketing and Isabel Peeters(Managing Director Client Services BBDO), Madeleine Leclercq (Founder Tramway 21), Davy Caluwaerts (Managing Director Zenith), Gregory Ginterdaele (Creator at DDB) and chairman David Favest (Marketing Director STIB-MIVB).

“In a time where it’s hard to compete against Facebook and Google, Spott™ came with a great solution. Spott™ is an example of product placement 2.0 and helps to ensure that more advertising budgets can be held within the local markets. This was the main motivation for the Merit Awards-jury to award Spott™ as Media of the Year.”
