06/2018 | Spott.ai was invited to share our vision for the future of (e-)commerce at the Wired Conference 2018 in São Paulo, Brazil.
For this inaugural edition with a focus on retail, an audience of top executives and entrepreneurs gathered to discuss the trends and innovations that are transforming the retail industry worldwide.
Our co-founder & co-CEO Jonas De Cooman was asked to present alongside speakers from Google, Twitter, McKinsey, Farfetch and other leading global brands. Jonas shared our story of breaking down the walls between advertising and content by making all content shoppable and interactive. The audience was also shown how Spott.ai’s AI & machine learning tools are being used to solve today’s industry challenges. Audience interest was clear – Jonas had to stay half an hour longer than planned just to answer all of the questions!
It was a great opportunity for us to meet influential business leaders in Latin-America, where our local Spott.ai team has been hard at work building partnerships. We are working with Corinthians, one of the biggest soccer teams in Brazil, to give their fans access to exclusive promos by means of interactive content during games. Publishers like GQ and a number of influential Brazilian vloggers will also use Spott.ai’s technology to provide interactive content. We are really excited about the progress that we are making in Brazil, the largest economy of Latin-America, and the eighth largest globally.
