Fashion Innovation Week, organized by Loomish, highlighted the accelerating efforts of startup AI companies within the fashion industry. Following the nomination for the Fashion Innovation Award, Spott is thrilled to take home the honor.
Loomish, a Swiss based investment firm focusing on Lifestyle Tech, kicked off the organized event on April 1st with the partnership of Netcomm Suisse. Netcomm Suisse’s president, Carlo Terreni, was one of many contributors to the panel discussions and jury. Both the fashion and tech industries were equally represented when reviewing each company’s solutions. The 120 applicants for the Fashion Innovation Award were narrowed down to 12 finalists, Spott being one of them.
Spott’s head of international partnerships, Dimitris Karamitsos, represented the company. The pitch was successfully executed thanks to the help of Elo Touch screens. The German touchscreen displays are also distributed by the Swiss company Inputech. Elo Touch’s products helped bring Spott’s mission to life through visualization. “With Spott, we have created a solution to make any content (video and pictures) interactive for any type of environment (video players, websites, apps, set-top boxes, smart TVs and social media).”
As a team, Spott is incredibly honored to win the Fashion Innovation Award 2019. Through the FI Week we have created valuable connections with significant leaders in the tech and fashion industries. We want to thank Loomish, especially Jelena Tasic, for the opportunity and to all who recognize the value of creating creative solutions.
Spott was in great company with all of the AI startup finalists. The two other prevailing winners of the award included Yosh.ai and Nextatlas.
